Channiversary 2.0

That’s right, our second birthday is coming up! And we have, as always, a new raid planned for the 13th of February. Exact route details are likely to be similar to previous raids (start at 11am near Central, etc.) Please see previous posts for an overview, this thread to contribute to the planning, and this here front page for more details when we’ve finalised them.

Now, onto a recap of past events. Our January raid was a little crazy - more awesome Aaron Saxton footage, more people throwing water on us from the carpark, more cops saying that we couldn’t be on the CoS’s side of the street (and then letting us be there after aforementioned water incident…). Then, of course, occurred what you may have heard of previously: Mark Hanna, a Scientologist, hands us his business card (showing he’s a lawyer), then assaults an Anon by grabbing him and attempting to kiss him. WTF? Good thing the cops were there at the time! Try our post-raid thread for more detailed descriptions, footage, and other dissection of the events.

And then we enturbulated the hell out of a CCHR/Truth about Drugs stand that Cyrus Brooks set up at Town Hall on Australia Day. Pro-tip, dear Scientologists: when the council gives you a permit telling you what you’re allowed to do, it’s useful to actually read it and follow it. It helps in not being forced to leave 2 hours before your permit was meant to expire.

Lastly, don’t forget to keep contacting those Senators. Parliament is back in session now that we’re in February, and Senator Xenophon needs all the help he can get!
